CIIC is responsible for direct buying and selling goods/services/technology authorised by the country and being agent for these goods/services/technology. CIIC is also granted by Bank of China and China Merchants Bank large sum of banking facilities and is awarded AAA by Bank of China.
CIIC does direct buying and selling of brand goods and acts as agents onshore and offshore. Products include machinery, chemicals, electronic devices and industry material. CIIC is also specialized in providing professional import and export agency service based on requirements of different products of various customers.

Domestic Letter of Credit Business
Thanks to its strong bank facilities provided by bank, CIIC is able to adopt the latest trading settlement facility (domestic L/C) to buy goods/services for domestic customers. This enables CIIC to provide good financing service, to enlarge its business scope and to increase its competitiveness at the market. Domestic L/C is the operation module that has borrows from international L/C. It has applied in domestic trade as a new type of settlement. Advantages of it include: Short term financing, Speeding of buyers capital turnover, Improvement of account receivables, Elusion of market risk, Prevention of commercial fraud and Avoidance of entanglement.

Bidding Business
CIIC is the member company of www.chinabidding.com. and is the partner signed with International Bidding Company of CNTIC. Its business is cored in Beijing and Shanghai and has formed extensive business network spreading in different regions of the country. Together with onshore and offshore business, CIIC is conducting joint bidding in China and is having full range of cooperation in business PR and capital/technology service. CIIC sits at Vice Chairman of China International Contractors Association and has qualifications authorised by Ministry of Commerce of contracting offshore projects which include large scale engineering projects either domestic or foreign. Projects including national revamping and supported by international financial institutions such as World Bank, Asia Development Bank and Japan Bank for International Cooperation and by foreign governments loans are operated by CIIC. CIIC is also responsible for economy aid projects for other countries. On behalf of internationally-renowned manufacturers, CIIC has on a number of occasions bidded for international projects of procuring machines and equipments. Related industries include energy, environment protection, metallurgy, construction, communication, health and medical and television broadcasting.

Investment Development
Depending on its integrated advantage, CIIC cooperated with Slovakia to invest in the project called Green China. The Project is to plant trees for 300,000 hectares with annual investment at 250 million US dollars. After its completion, the Project has critically and strategically meaning to Chinese forestry industry.

Temporary Customs Clearance: Temporary Customs Clearance service of goods for exhibition and consignment.
Donation: Customs Clearance of goods received by clients by donation.

Overseas Undertaking
CIIC vigorously implements the strategy of going to international and has been to the markets in 76 nations and regions. More than 40,000 technology management staff and labours at various levels have been sent to overseas countries.

In order to improve the bilateral economic and trade development, CIIC established China Merchandise Market or Chinamexmart in Dubai, UAE in 2004. It is the largest economic and trade platform in overseas countries that have been ever built by PRC. Approved by Ministry of Commerce of PRC, CIIC is responsible for operating and organising this project and is responsible for enrolling merchants on behalf of Chinamexmart in China.
